The Champagne Saints

For our out-of-town guests who are coming in for the CD Release Party on June 13th (or in-town guests who feel that Pontiac is like going out of town), we finally have the hotel information for you.  We have a deal with the Courtyard by Marriott in Auburn Hills.  The rate is $69/night for a king or 2 queen beds, It will also include shuttle service 2 hours before the event and 2 hours after the event.  The block is under “The Champagne Saints” when you call to make reservations.

Hello all.  It’s been a while since we had some news to post, but things are going on behind the scenes getting ready for the release date.  The songs are being mastered as we speak and we are still shooting for an early April date.  The CD will definitely be ready and available We are finalizing the artwork and hashing out details for the CD release party.  We hope to be announcing the opening act later this week.   To borrow a quote from the best music movie ever, Almost Famous, “It’s all happening.”   We ask that you be patient as we put a nice little bow on this bad boy.  Thanks for your continuing support.

Well, folks, about two years in the making and the album is finally done.   Ok, ok, ok, so it’s not “completely” done.  We have yet to get the songs mastered, but the songs have all been mixed and “blessed” by the band.  We still have some loose ends to tie up in terms of artwork, promotion, and things like that, but the heavy lifting–the ten-hour days in the studio, the constant mixing–that  is done.  I think I can speak for the rest of the band when I say that this album has exceeeded all of our wildest expectations in terms of the quality of the production and the songs themselves.    And to think, we did it all without killing each other

To everyone that has helped us achieve this goal, to everyone who has showed us any sort of interest, given us any amount of love and support, we want to thank you all.  The album will be available in a few short weeks.  We hope to see you all at the CD release party on June 13th, and hopefully other gigs throughout the summer and the rest of ‘09.
